About Us

Meet some of the team

Dan

Dan

Project Team Manager

Dan’s mission at CompuWorks is to make sure our IT projects are delivered on time and on budget. And he’s been doing just that at CompuWorks for over 20 years.

An accomplished musician and fan, Dan has been to 87 (and counting) Pearl Jam concerts and even more remarkable, has never had a cup of coffee.

Amy

Amy

Account Manager

Amy makes the world go-'round for all of her clients. Part juggler, part organizer, part problem-solver, Amy has been at CompuWorks since grunge rock was new. And we’re all grateful for that.

An avid runner, Amy has competed in races throughout the northeast with her merry band of like-minded athlete-friends. In the brush with fame category, Amy reports that there are, in fact, no degrees of separation between her and Kevin Bacon.

Kalee

Kalee

Service Coordinator

Kalee keeps the CompuWorks service team humming. Between dispatching service tickets, scheduling project plans, setting priorities, and handling client 911s, Kalee is a key member of our service delivery team.

Outside of the office, you might find Kalee hiking with her dog Hazel, or volunteering at the Berkshire Humane Society. Kalee also holds the distinction of being (we think) the only current or former CompuWorks’ employee to hold a U.S. patent. (#10154724 if you want to check it out.)

Steve

Steve

Virtual CTO

As a technology leader, Steve is part of the teams that both develop and implement strategic technology investments. One part technical super-hero and one part consultant, Steve helps keep our clients moving in the right direction.

Outside of work, you’ll find Steve spending time with his family at Little League games and gymnastic meets. A video game enthusiast, Steve enjoys gaming on some of the older consoles he’s collected since his youth. He is also a past CompuWorks’ fantasy football champion.

Collin

Collin

Service Desk Tech

Collin is a service desk superhero, solving problems large and small for the CompuWorks client community. His calm and reassuring desk-side manner puts everyone at ease.

In addition to being an avowed Star Wars junkie, Collin loves what he does so much that he even spends his off-hours building new servers, learning new operating systems, and the next cool application.

Scott

Scott

Service Desk Team Lead

Scott is the consummate player/coach. He helps guide the day-to-day Service Desk action and also rolls up his sleeves and digs in when needed. Always smiling, Scott brings an infectious upbeat spirit to his work.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family.

Dave Hall

Dave Hall

Founding Partner, President

A founding partner, Dave has been involved in shaping the direction of CompuWorks since the beginning. Dave focuses much of his client work on IT strategy and helping clients make informed and impactful IT decisions.

An active member of the community, Dave is a coach and founder of the Berkshire Lightning Girls track club, past president of the Pittsfield Rotary Club, and an avid runner and rower.

Matt Speed

Matt Speed

Partner, Chief Technology Officer

Matt came to us from Winnipeg Canada over 25 years ago. From his start as a level 1 Field Tech, Matt is now an equity partner and is our technology leader.

An avid and decorated RC car racing enthusiast Matt also enjoys the occasional video game and is active in supporting the Berkshire Human Society.

Joe Andrews

Joe Andrews

Partner, Chief Operating Officer

Joe joined CompuWorks fresh out of the Air Force 25+ years ago. His military discipline was a perfect addition to our team and he’s brought that mindset to the company ever since. Joe oversees all operational aspects of CompuWorks.

A devoted sports fan and “foodie”, Joe enjoys traveling the northeast (usually via Amtrak) in search of great games and great eats. He is past President of Girls Inc. of the Berkshires, and despite our best efforts, remains a Yankees fan.

Alan Bauman

Alan Bauman

Founding Partner, Troublemaker

Alan is recognized as a leader in the managed IT peer community nationally. Understanding industry trends, and in particular, what clients will need from CompuWorks not only today but 3 years from now is a passion for Al.

An active musician who is not nearly good enough to quit his day job, Al has played drums with a number of Berkshires-based bands over the past dozen years. He has also been active on the boards of Mass Audubon, Music In Common, Word x Word, and The Colonial Theatre.

We treat each other with respect and support; we understand that a strong team is more powerful than a collection of strong individuals.
